Glass Music from the Glass Duo

The Glass Duo is composed of Polish musicians Anna and Arkadiusz Szafraniec. Apparently they have built the largest glass harp in the world which covers four and a half octaves!

A beautiful glass harp melody entitled “Promenade” by the Glass Due:

Please enjoy several more recordings by the Glass Duo.

Great, but that melody is actually from “Pictures at an Exhibition” by Modest Mussorgsky….

The piece is one of several shorter movements in “Pictures at an Exhibition” all entitled “Promenade.” The idea is that the listener is strolling between several different pieces in a gallery.
